ProSticks.com Limited. was founded in 1994 by a group of veteran financial market practitioners.
The company utilizes the ProSticks Technical Charting and Analysis System, launched in 1999 for the Hong Kong market (www.prosticks.com.hk), to help better represent the price behavior of the market. This new era in technical charting and analysis primarily takes shape in presenting critical market information such as the most heavily traded point (as Modal Point) and trading concentration area (as Active Range) into an easily readable and quantifiable format (see ProSticks Education section for more details).

As a result, it has been proven to add incomparable perception to the analysis of the price movements of underlying securities such as currencies, stocks and equities, index futures, and commodities.

The invention is so important that ProSticks was able to secure sponsorship from governmental agencies to help lodge patents worldwide. Many parts of the world have since granted the patent right to ProSticks, including the United States (U.S. Pat. 7,043,449).
